Dr. Maness is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. (Board Certified) He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry and his MSD degree at St. Louis University Department of Orthodontics.  He was awarded membership in the C. Edmund Kells Honorary Society by LSU School of Dentistry.

He is a member of many dental and orthodontic associations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and Louisiana Orthodontists Association.  He is also involved in Habitat for Humanity.

Dr. Maness’ practice and philosophy is that our mission and goal everyday is to provide a fun experience for our patients, a positive environment for our team, and to be the best orthodontic office in our community.  It gives Dr. Maness great pleasure to see what a difference a beautiful smile can make.

Dr. Maness is a native of Orlando, Florida and has lived in Lafayette since 1991.  He and his wife Susan have two sons, Brock and Barak.  When Dr. Maness is not busy with his patients, he enjoys skiing, hiking, diving, and traveling.
